I’ve been what Ken Honda calls “money indifferent” for a few years now.
That means, for at least 4-5 years, I have hardly bothered to check my bank balance.
Being an entrepreneur is a thrilling roller coaster ride…
Some months you can be on top of the world and then suddenly be shot down by a policy change or an algorithm change and be back at zero and earnings $0 up per month or worse… Burning through cash.
Do you know the trick to staying even keeled through it all, though?
Focus on what you can accomplish each day. We can achieve big things through small steps.
And here’s the kicker…
The feeling of accomplishing things and being productive keeps us in a good state of mind. It’s the mind’s internal reward system that keeps us moving forward with momentum. And regularly take stock to review what you are doing, and identify what your highest leverage items are on your to-do list that you need to take action on.
In my experience, the two highest leverage types of activities that we can do to be more successful are… Creating and relating. Creating high value content, advertisements, useful products and tools, and so on…
And then creating the kinds of partnerships, relationships with customers and clients, so that you can earn the financial rewards that you deserve for your work.
As long as you are consistently doing those high leverage activities and moving the needle forward to build your business overtime… You will be able to go to sleep each night feeling accomplished.
Some days and months you may earn less than McDonald’s worker but in the end you’ll find yourself in a good place satisfied with the outcome of your efforts and everyone will be wondering how you did it.
If you really want to optimize your productivity and performance, so that you accomplish everything you have on your plate day in and out, the “Hack Time” course is the best place to take things to the next level 🚀
